Ryan Quinn

President

Ryan previously served as Director of Project Management for Schramm Construction, a GC firm with a 30+year legacy in the Fox Valley region. In 2024, Ryan and his wife Nancy, QDBI’s Vice President acquired Schramm Construction and launched Quinn Design-Build Inc. to preserve the Schramm legacy while embracing an updated and collaborative approach to design and construction. Ryan leads QDBI with clear focus: to delivering thoughtful, high-quality building solutions nimbly with accountability and purpose.

With more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Ryan brings deep field knowledge and leadership to every project. His career began with the City of Wheaton as a Maintenance Specialist and grew through roles as Project Superintendent, Project Manager, Field Manager, and Director of Project Management. This journey gives him a unique perspective on what clients, design teams, and subcontractors need to succeed. He leads projects from concept to completion with clarity, accountability, and a solutions-first mindset. For Ryan, building is more than just construction—it is about earning trust, solving problems, and creating spaces that serve people well for years to come.

Ryan is an active member of Vistage, a nationwide executive leadership group, and believes in continuous learning, mentorship, and investing in people. Faith and community are central to the culture at QDBI. Ryan and Nancy are proud to give back through volunteering and financial support of local organizations.

Nancy Quinn

Vice President

With more than 20 years of specialized construction accounting experience, Nancy serves as the financial backbone of Quinn Design-Build Inc. (QDBI), bringing deep industry expertise and strategic insight. Her comprehensive understanding of construction financials—from complex project cost accounting to cash flow management—enables QDBI to navigate the unique financial challenges that define the construction industry.



As co-owner and Vice President, Nancy works in close partnership with Ryan to shape QDBI’s strategic direction and operational excellence. Her client-focused philosophy ensures that every financial decision is made with the project’s long-term success in mind, while her partner-centric approach fosters collaborative relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry professionals.
